Mulled Apple Cider with Bourbon (Autumn pick me up)

imagesAutumn is one of my favorite seasons in Minnesota. It is a season of apple picking, hiking on the many trails, and picnicking at the beach on a rustic Faribult blanket. Today was a gorgeous warm autumn day, but I was stuck inside my office, so tonight I am heading to the lake. I am grabbing my cozy sweater, skipping the Monday night football game, and watching the sunset while sipping on a hot mulled cider. I may even spike it with a touch of  bourbon.

“Live in each season as it passes…Breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the Earth.”  Henry David Thoreau

Enjoy!! Peace…Britt
